“A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it."
LUKE 8:5 NLT
Devoting ourselves to today's life-changing Bible verse
Today I read a verse, that by God's grace has just changed my life forever. (Tweet that!) In this Bible verse, I realized, perhaps for the first time, the details of who, when, where, how and what God wants me to do on the earth.
Who?- everyone.
The farmer is God working through me, to spread His Word like seeds into the ground of every heart without discrimination.
When?- all the time.
all the time, anytime, whether the person is hard, distracted, warm, receptive, or not.
Where?- everywhere.
scatter it- regardless of the situation at hand. Some seed will be well received, some will be trampled on in the path, but God wants it scattered everywhere anyhow.
How?- liberally.
share God's word everywhere, at all times, without discrimination, generously. Sow liberally.
What?- the Word
The word of God is Jesus Christ, whether in word or deed, I need to be manifesting the life of Jesus everywhere I go, being faithful to dwell so richly in His word, that it is His word that comes out of my mouth and actions all the time for all the world to see.
We were never called in Christ to be ninja Christians, but to be bright, bold, and clothed with Christ, like a lamp on a hill.
Today's Action of Faith
Today, every time we find ourselves wondering, should I share Jesus, don't think too hard. Just do it.
Share Jesus's love liberally today.
(Tweet that!)

Have you made your wish list for Santa Clause yet?
Sometimes it’s hard to make that list, when somebody asks us for it. All of the sudden, the great Christmas wish list ideas we’d been collecting in our brains all year vanishes at just the moment we could have used it.
Have you ever sat down for a Bible reading and prayer time and felt drawn to writing down your wish list?
I would propose that the Spirit of God searches our hearts with us, to help us discover the things we truly like and want. The things we could, or couldn’t ask anybody else for on Christmas.
I would propose that some of those ideas that pop into our heads are even planted by Him, as things we could never have thought of on our own, but that He knew we would deeply enjoy.
One year, for my wedding anniversary, my husband asked me, “If you could go anywhere in place or time with me, where would you go?”
When he asked, I felt compelled to consider the idea with the Lord before answering, so I asked for a little time to think about it. While I asked the Lord what I should dream of.
“I” dreamed up an answer,
“I’d like to be at the tail end of a caravan of pilgrims, and run off alone with you to live in a cave and have nothing to do, nobody to deal with but enjoying your company all alone.”
What a crazy idea right?
When I shared this “vision” with my husband, he lit up and said,
“Ok!”
A few weeks later, to celebrate our anniversary, he took me on a secret surprise get away.
The same day he had asked me for my wish his work fellows had highly recommended to him this hotel theme room called, “The Cave.”
I had never heard of hotel theme rooms before and when Jeff took me to a hotel room labeled, “The Cave.” I was amazed and delighted! There were stalactites and stalagmites descending and ascending from the ceiling and floor of a room designed to look like a cave, which included it’s own bubbling hot spring in the middle of the room. I was delighted and amazed!
This was a great display to me of God’s hand in blessing His children in powerful creative ways. I was filled with wonder at how God had planted such an exotic idea in my head, only to make the dream come true with this ambition of Jeff’s heart to bless and surprise me for a romantic anniversary get away.
God is into our loving plans, dreams and visions!
Today's Action of Faith
As you create your Wishlist this year, I’d like to encourage you to make two lists patterned after this Bible verse:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Create one wish list called: His Kingdom and His Righteousness
List under it’s heading every desire and dream of your heart that has to do with godliness, holiness, discipleship, souls being saved, ect…
Then create the second list titled: All These Other Things
List under this list all the crazy good wishes you might be able to dream up in God, like a get away in a cave with my spouse, or what ever else the Spirit of God may empower you to dream.
Use these two lists in your prayer time, the first list is a list for exercising faith, by making requests and confessions of faith, along with praise and thanks remembering His word;
“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.”
Sadly, there are no pictures of the room on their website, but if you want to see pictures of rooms like the one we enjoyed you can view them by clicking this google search for “Hotel Theme Rooms The Cave” at:
Heavenly Father, I confess you are SO much better than Santa Clause! I know Christmas isn't all about getting gifts, but is more about giving gifts, and remembering the gift of salvation You gave to the world through the life of Your son Jesus Christ. Help me today to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness and to delight myself in You most of all. Please help me also to take courage in Your great love and power to dream of the other things You want to bless me with. In Jesus name I ask, Amen. For nothing will be impossible with God. - Luke 1:37 NASB

Devoting ourselves to today's life-changing Bible verse
When Ted's friend asked him to pray for her because Doctors had determined her pacemaker no longer worked, and they needed to do surgery, he BOLDLY prayed that God would give her the heart of a teenager. On the day of surgery, the doctor conducted a pre-surgery examination and discovered the woman had a healthy heart, like that of a teenager. In today's video, I asked Ted how he knew what to ask. Did God give you those words, or was it just the best solution you could think of? Ted shared this Bible verse, that nothing shall be impossible for those who believe. How simple it is to read God's word and not try to make it hard! Ted's simple and holy faith accomplished mighty things in Jesus' name!
Today's Action of Faith
What is the BEST solution you can imagine to your current problem? Today, let's take courage to simply BELIEVE and ASK God to do it in Jesus' name.
Heavenly Father, as Your thoughts are precious to me, my thoughts also, are precious to You; so great is Your love for me. Help me to think creatively of the best solution to my problem so that I can pray effectively. In Jesus' name I ask, Amen. For MORE POWERFUL Prayers, visit Katkerr.com Video Devotions

I have RICHLY enjoyed sharing the love and faith of God with you! I wanted to let you know that in this next season I will not be sharing weekly devotional updates with you, and when I resume- YOU will be the first to know.
Beginning in November I will be devoting myself to completing the rough draft of Raising Jesus. A historical fiction novel I began about 10 years ago. I am COMPELLED to FOCUS my energies on it in this season, as well as developing my gift and call for teaching and entrepreneurship. I am developing a technical coaching service called Angela Schans Media.
Please feel free to check that out- there is a FREE mini course that will teach you how to get over a thousand views to your blog, website or landing page perpetually- like I do. It's a MUST have course for anybody who is reaching people online for ministry or business.
Your prayers are wanted! I'm looking forward to this season, and to chatting with you again, when this season changes to the next.

Devoting ourselves to today's life-changing Bible verse
I want to know what kind of prayer life I need to accomplish great miracles in Jesus name, like Ted's experiences. I thought his example and advice might help me to be more Christ-like.
In today's devotional for Christian encouragement Ted shares with us some details about the kind of prayer that precedes great miracles. I asked him specifically about his prayer life, and his experience seeing Jesus face to face. In the video interview below you will hear his answers to these questions: How do you pray for a great miracle? How did you develop this conversation with God that never stops? Did you ever deal with doubt? What did Jesus look like? How tall was he? What did it feel like to touch his hand? What should a person do who is doubting the reality of God?
Today's Action of Faith
Today let's include everything that is going on around us in our conversation with God that never stops.
Oh, Heavenly Father, I pray for grace, and a gift of faith to maintain a constant conversation with you. In Jesus' name I ask, Amen. For MORE POWERFUL Prayers, visit Katkerr.com Video Devotions

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Devoting ourselves to today's life-changing Bible verse
Could a normal Christian ever raise the dead? This interview with Ted Ferguson is more of a faith boost for me than hearing any popular preacher share about mighty miracles done in Jesus name. Ted's simple expressions of faith confirms to us that everything we have been told, and Everything we have read and heard from God's word is POWERFUL and True! Ted's example shows us that it does not belong to the proud or the mighty to do the works of God that Jesus did, but this belongs simply to believers. (Tweet that!)
Today's Action of Faith
Today as soon as we are faced with a situation that obviously opposes God's expressed will let's remember we are in Christ and speak with authority to the situation and allow the power of God to make a change through our faith.
Heavenly Father, I believe in Jesus. Help me to believe that He is with me and in me and working through me to accomplish Your will on the earth. In Jesus name I ask, Amen. For MORE POWERFUL Prayers, visit Katkerr.com Video Devotions

Today as you scroll down and hear Ted share how he raised the dead I pray your faith would be resurrected to believe that God will move through you to bring life everywhere you go. As Christians, this is our purpose in life.
Devoting ourselves to today's life-changing Bible verse
When Jesus was raised from the dead he said, "ALL authority in heaven and on earth has been given unto Me. Go therefor..." (click that to tweet!) Let's devote ourselves to the truth that the Devil no longer has the power to give the honor and glory of the nations who whom ever he chooses, but Jesus does- and HE does his works THROUGH us so we must GO into all the nations and make disciples, teaching them all Jesus said, and He will be with us always.
Heavenly Father, renew my faith and fill me with grace to extend the resurrection power of Christ everywhere I go. In Jesus name I ask, Amen. For other POWERFUL Prayers, visit Katkerr.com Video Devotions
